"I have been using CBD on various patients at my functional medicine center for some time now, and we are loving the clinical results! I use it to support healthy balanced inflammation levels in people with autoimmunity, pain, and anxiety. For some, CBD has truly been the missing link in their health puzzle. It's one of the few things that I, too, take every day."
— William Cole, D.C
"Ultimately there is a role for CBD in a variety of conditions. It decreases anxiety, is anti-inflammatory, and can help with sleep. It does also have some positive impact on pain. Some of it may be for the reasons I listed above. It doesn’t have the psychotropic effects of THC, and it is legal."
— Carrie Diulus, M.D.

How is your CBD processed? The full spectrum hemp extract used in the tinctures is produced in a Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment certified facility by the process of ethanol extraction. The plant material is soaked in ethanol, where the various cannabinoids, terpenes, and other hydrophobic compounds are dissolved into the ethanol. This mixture is then place under vacuum at a warm temperature, where the ethanol boils off leaving behind the solvent-free full spectrum oil. This oil is then put through a winterization process, where it is frozen to remove unwanted plant waxes and lipids. The final product is dark amber in appearance and has the characteristic smell of hemp.

How do I know how much CBD I should take?Everybody’s endocannabinoid system is different, so dosage can vary. The best way to find a proper dosage is to start low and slow. For those new to cannabis, we recommend trying 5mg three times a day. Note changes and gradually increase until you find what works best for your body. Keep adjusting as needed until relief is consistent. Be patient!

What’s the difference between full spectrum and isolate? There are a variety of cannabinoids other than CBD found in hemp, hundreds in fact! Full spectrum products keep those cannabinoids and terpenes (aromatic compounds that influence the smell plants) in tact as much as possible. Our Full Spectrum tinctures are a rich amber color and a pleasant, green flavor. Isolate products have those additional plant oils removed, eliminating all traces of THC and leaving only CBD or other specific cannabinoids behind. Our Isolate tinctures (THC FREE and Focus) are crystal clear with no noticeable flavor, unless essential oils have been added.

What’s the difference between the 1000mg and 2000mg tinctures? The 1000mg tincture is the best place to start if you are new to CBD. If you’ve been taking it for a while, and your doses are increasing, you may find better results by increasing to the 2000mg bottle. By increasing the CBD concentration, you may take less oil with the same results.
